Brian Walsh, President
For Brian Walsh, dreams of becoming a builder came early. At the age of nine, during the construction of his uncle's home in Ocean County, New Jersey, Brian received his first power tool. A true visionary, Brian knew exactly what his life's passion would be and never looked back. Drawn to the concepts of form and functionality and gifted with an artistic flare for design and construction, Brian entered the building industry in 1977. Brian J. Walsh Custom Homes built homes throughout the coastal communities of Ocean County, New Jersey until Walsh moved his family to Marco Island, Florida in 1996. Joining forces with his cousin, Walsh partnered with Sunset Builders of Southwest Florida to personally oversee the construction of 185 distinctive estate homes on Marco Island. Having experienced the effects of hurricanes, Charlie, Katrina and Wilma, Walsh knew that as much as he would miss the Florida lifestyle, it would be in the best interests of his family to find a new place to call home. Upon visiting Middle Tennessee in 2005, Walsh was impressed by the natural beauty and sense of community evident in Williamson County and decided to bring his wealth of experience from building luxury homes in New Jersey and Florida to Middle Tennessee. Brian Walsh is more than a custom home builder. He is a true master craftsman in the old world tradition with a pedigree of over thirty years in the building industry. Brian utilizes his highly developed creative instincts and keen business sense along with his lifelong passion for building, architecture and real estate to recognize opportunities that may be overlooked by others. Brian prides himself in not only the timeless design and sustained durability of the homes he has built but in the relationships he has created along the way. "There's a great sense of pride in visiting a home that you built years ago to see that it has not only withstood the test of time in terms of design and durability but to be welcomed in by a homeowner as happy to see you as the day you handed them the keys!" This unique combination of experience, skill, vision and integrity has provided Brian Walsh with the ability to create truly remarkable homes.
